M100 is a spiral galaxy of type Sc. In epoch J2000 coordinates, it is located at an RA of 12h21m38.78s and a Dec of +15d44m42s. It has a radial velocity of 1,293 kilometers per second and a redshift of .0043. Its magnitude is 14.6. This galaxy is a member of the Virgo Cluster and is sometimes called the Grand Design Galaxy.
