The number of strongly lensed (sub)millimeter bright galaxies (SMGs) identified in the past few years has increased significantly thanks to large area surveys such as Herschel-ATLAS and HerMES, and SPT-SMGs. Recently, in Harrington ea. (2016), we have identified a number of Planck+Herschel counterparts and have imaged their 1.1mm emission with AzTEC and one of the low-J CO lines with the Large Millimeter Telescope/RSR. This has led to extensive follow-up of the CO(1-0) line with the Green Bank  Telescope and the mid-J transitions with the IRAM 30m. In this talk, I will present the main findings from these two on-going programs with a focus on our most recent results obtained using non-LTE large velocity gradient (LVG) and dust radiative transfer modeling of the CO excitation ladders (aka CO SLEDs) and dust spectral energy distributions (SEDs). I will also discuss future work to improve upon our endeavors to characterize the ISM of these lensed galaxies.
