Frontiers of Neutron Star Astrophysics

A meeting on open problems and future directions in neutron star astrophyics will be held at Cornell on May 29 and 30, 2014. The topics covered will include radio pulsars and magnetars, magnetic field evolution, models of neutron star interiors and equation of state, supernova explosion mechanisms, accreting neutron stars, binary neutron star mergers, gravitational waves and electromagnetic counterparts, tests of general relativity using pulsars, etc. The meeting will consist of 18 invited talks, a number of contributed talks and a panel discussion.
