I will show how, by stacking data for hundreds of thousands of galaxies selected from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, it is possible to measure mean halo mass, Sunyaev-Zeldovich signal and X-ray luminosity for isolated galaxies with stellar masses similar to that of the Milky Way or larger.  This allows scaling relations between halo mass and baryon content to be measured over a much wider halo mass range than has previously been possible.
