VERY LONG BASELINE ARRAY OBSERVING LOG -------------------------------------- Project: BC120AU Observer: Chatterjee, S. Project type: VLBA Obs filename: bc120aucrd.* Date/Day: 2003JUN30/181 Ants Used: SC HN NL FD LA PT KP OV BR MK =UT-Time===Comment===============================================MF#===%AD==AMD= Operator is Cyrus M Reed. VCLOCK and GPS DELTA OK. UT1-UTC OK (-0.37). WEA: Cloud cover via webcam unavailable; WEA: (night at all sites). WEA: No recent precipitation at any site. 0540 Begin observing. All antennas except PT,MK on source. 0540 The file hung the PT,BR,MK VME's on startup - BR,MK were rebooted via rlogin. PT could only be rebooted via the sensaphone. Several of the sites in addition to PT,BR,MK had "tSuper: tNewd not running" errors when the file came up. %NL reported "Tape HST00217 full on drive 2" Autoallocate postpassed the tape. %BR reported "Tape SLVB0228 full on drive 1" In this case the drive did not postpass, and 'rcmd tape report' shows 33min of tape time left, which is not the usual 44min multiple. %Unsure if the above tape messages are correct or not, however there is enough tape left at both sites to finish observations for the evening. 0543 MK,PT on source. No scheduled readback checks. 0741 End. Downtime Summary: Total downtime : 0 min Percentage downtime of observing: 0.0% Average downtime per hour : 0.0 min Total scheduled observing time (# Antennas): 1210 min (10) Notes: * = Entries where data was affected. % = Entries where data may have been affected. & = Entries where the site tech was called out. WEA = Weather entries. MF# = Maintenance form or major downtime category associated with a problem. %AD = The percentage of an antenna affected by a problem. AMD = Total antenna-minutes downtime for a problem. Tsys = System Temperature (TP/SP x Tcal/2) ACU = Antenna Control Unit FRM = Focus/Rotation Mount RFI = Radio Frequency Interference VME = Site control computer CB = Circuit Breaker vclock = Program that compares site clock time to a standard.
