Perreault 0235-0436 %OV when tsmplots were generated, discovered that FE there is a "ripple" in the system temperature for all channels. There are no obvious problems with the 20cm front end system (no CHECKER messages). 0235-0314 *BR has had three power glitches in a row, each one COM 100 39 resulting in AZ and EL armature / electronic circuit breaker faults. The last set have not cleared as normal. Will call out oncall site tech to go investigate. 0312 BR site tech Bob called, he could not find anything obvious wrong. He said that there is a thunderstorm brewing locally and that there could have been some lightning stikes in the area to cause the power to glitch and the subsequent AZ and EL circuit breaker faults. He is on site, asked me to point the antenna so he could watch it. 0320-0345 *MK high system temperatures on channels INT 25 6 7 and 8. Discovered when tsmplots were generated. 0322 BR site tech Bob called, said he would be there for about another half hour to watch things then call before he leaves the site. 0402 BR tech Bob heading home. 0436 End. Downtime Summary: Total downtime : 45 min Percentage downtime of observing: 3.7% Average downtime per hour : 2.2 min Total scheduled observing time (# Antennas): 1210 min (10) Notes: * = Entries where data was affected. % = Entries where data may have been affected. & = Entries where the site tech was called out. WEA = Weather entries. MF# = Maintenance form or major downtime category associated with a problem. %AD = The percentage of an antenna affected by a problem. AMD = Total antenna-minutes downtime for a problem. Tsys = System Temperature (TP/SP x Tcal/2) ACU = Antenna Control Unit FRM = Focus/Rotation Mount RFI = Radio Frequency Interference VME = Site control computer CB = Circuit Breaker vclock = Program that compares site clock time to a standard.
