Asteroid Freaks

I will present and discuss a new type of asteroid discovered in the main-belt between Mars and Jupiter in the last decade. These objects have several distinct origins. They are relevant to understanding the collisional destruction of asteroids, their disruption by radiation torques, the production of meteoroid streams and dust, and the origin of planetary volatiles.
